In memoriam: Tony Scaife

It is with great sadness that we had to bid farewell to one of our longest-standing members, Tony Scaife (lifetime member) in 2021.
Tony was president of the society for seven years from 1996, and he passed away in January 2021 after a short stay in hospital. He was not only a former President of HERAS but was president of East Riding Astronomers for many years before his wife Lorraine took over this post, but he remained a very active member.
